On Friday, 06 December 2024, Innovative Entrepreneurs NPC proudly hosted the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Disability Indaba 2024 (DE&I Disability Indaba)—a landmark event dedicated to championing the inclusion of Persons with Disabilities in South Africa’s mainstream economy.
A United Effort for Inclusion:
The event brought together influential partners, industry leaders, and changemakers committed to breaking barriers and fostering a more inclusive economy. Industry Commitments to Employment Equity:
One of the most significant highlights of the DE&I Disability Indaba 2024 was the pledge by Industry Associations and Professional Bodies to achieve the 7% employment equity target for Persons with Disabilities by 2030. This reflects a collective commitment to fostering inclusion, accessibility, and equity across all economic sectors.
