SAMED hosted the Women in Medtech Industry on 25 August 2023 at Deloitte, Midrand.
Innovative Entrepreneurs was invited to promote and create awareness of the importance of implementing Transformational Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment, specifically around Enterprise Development contributions.
Arlene Wilson-Max, the director of Innovative Entrepreneurs took to the podium and expressed the importance of Women working together as Innovative Entrepreneurs by “Thinking out of the Box” to create market access opportunities and platforms for participation of women in the mainstream economy.
Points highlighted were centered around B-BBEE and the 40% procurement Government has allocated towards women owned businesses.
